"The Who Encore Series" of CD's will be recorded and mixed directly from the soundboard and according to TheMusic.com, "... each double CD will be available within three weeks of the show concerned and all profits from the sale of these CDs will go to young peoples' charities supported by The Who." The first show available in the Who Encore Series is "Detroit" aka - Auburn Hills, MI
Originally 16 shows from the third and fourth legs were released immediately following each show date. On Nov 29th an additional NINE shows from the first two legs were released, as well two collectors edition box sets:

the Who Encore series, an AUTOGRAPHED card from Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend,
and the 60 page 5-inch by 7-inch color book of tour photos and commentary,
all in a miniature replica road case. This case is a 7 inch by 8.5 inch
by 6.5 inch replica of a tour equipment case, and is stamped with the official

- of course there is the continuous rumor of the band "planning" to enter the studio that has been perpetuated by various band members for over 2 years now!
