The Healers 2003 tour first hit the road in the US in January, then moved on the Australia and Japan, then the UK and finally back to the US in the spring! Details for ALL legs of the tour are available!

April 26 2003 - Los Angeles CA - The Viper Room

Rumors abounded that the "Special Surprise Guest" listed for the 10:30pm slot was to be Johnny Marr + the Healers (and possibly the 25th as well). Still awaiting fan reports!

May 10, 2003 - Louisville, KY - Non-Comm Convention

(was not listed on pollstar) This was a radio industry convention (for non-commercial stations), that ran from May 8-10th, and was held at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel in Louisville, KY. "Three days of meetings, music and networking for noncommercial Triple A radio." The many artists perform at various venues around the city, including WFPK's own state-of-the-art studios. The Healers played at the Headliners Music Hall Louisville, KY billed as Johnny Marr & the Healers with Daniel Lanois, John Hiatt & the Goners, John Eddy, and Digby. Johnny was scheduled to go onstage at 11:15pm, but did not actually hit the stage until almost 2am!!

May 25, 2003 - Asbury Park NJ - The Stone Pony

Ocean Ave & second. (18 + show) This was a bit of a muck at first. Due to the horrible weather, the outdoor Memorial Day blast on Satuday the 24th featuring Ween, was postponed until Saturday! This meant that from about 3-10pm the Saturday bash took place! Marr fans were allowed in around 7:30 and Ween fans were invited to stay for Johnny's show that began with an opening band inside at 10:15. FINALLY, around 11:30pm, The Healers took the stage.
